Individual and personal courses
Professional surgical training of today

Our simulation courses take place at the lapcenter or even on-site at your hospital. These "Flying Simulator" courses rapidly increase in popularity.

Certified course with 35 CME credits

All courses are officially recognised. At the end, you receive a certificate over 35 CME (continuous medical education) credits from the Swiss Surgical Society. All our courses start with a kick-off which takes about 3 hours. There, we conduct an individual assessment of your skills and establish your personal training curriculum.

This individual assessment is followed by free training with regular support and valuable explanations by the instructor. At least 10 hours of the minimum 40 course hours are accompanied by the instructor. During the other training times, instructors are reachable via the telephone hotline.

Course „Zurich“ (12 months)

This course is perfect for participants living in Zurich and the surrounding area. During 12 months, they can train as often and as much as they like to – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Course „Switzerland & neighbouring countries“ (prolonged weekends)

This course takes place in the lapcenter during several prolonged weekends. This is especially practical for those participants who are very busy and who live in Switzerland or neighbouring countries (Germany, Italy, France, …).

Course „International“ (1 week compact course)

This course offers the entire curriculum compressed during 1 intense training week at the lapcenter. Usually, international surgeons choose this option if they prefer to spend their vacation time doing something useful for their career.

Course costs

The costs for the course are CHF 2‘000.- for each participant including final examination and the certificate over 35 credits for continuous medical education (CME). Make sure to ask your employer, as in many cases the hospital covers 50% of the costs for our courses.
